Welcome to Miami and the sweep of South Beach - backdrop to every iconic Miami movie, and forefront of Latin American culture. Stroll through pastel-hued geometric buildings in the art deco district, to graffiti mural masterpieces at Wynwood Walls. Watch Latino life unfold in Little Havana - the heartbeat of this great city - where walk-up windows sell café cortadito, sweet sugarcane juice, hatuey beer and guava ice-cream. Watch passionate locals discuss politics, play dominoes and smoke cigars. Shimmy at a salsa class, shop designer boutiques and race marlin and sharks by speedboat. Day 3, Puerto Plata, Dominican RepublicArrival 09:00Departure 19:00
The queen of the “Silver Coast”, Puerto Plata is treasured for her soaring cloud-shrouded peaks and stunning shining beaches. Once famously plundered by pirates — you too can storm the 16th-century Fortaleza San Felipe fort — now is coveted by modern-day aficionados seeking her bounty of aged rum, robust cigars, and rich chocolate. Adventurers can soar to the top of the Pico Isabel de Torres 793 mt (2,602 ft), dare to off-road to the Waterfalls of Damajagua, or kite-surf, catamaran, and zip-line over the ocean. Pro tip: save time for a buzzy beach club to chill with coconut-fused libations.

Princely Philipsburg reigns as the
capital of the Dutch side of the dual-nation island of Sint Maarten/ and French
Saint Martin. Lounging beside aptly named Great Bay, the seaside city weaves
colourful streets lined with Dutch emporiums brimming with chocolates, cheeses
and coveted luxuries. Kayak lapis-blue waters, dive amongst a kaleidoscope of
reefs or gallop on horseback along shaded plantation trails. Play ‘lady luck’ in
winning casinos or a round of golf beside an eternally blue sea. Every moment
embraces the idea that a day in Philipsburg is royal.
Day 6, Terre-de-Haut (Îles des Saintes), GuadeloupeArrival 08:00Departure 18:00
In dainty Terre-de-Haute, diminutive
sibling of Guadeloupe and queen of the Îles des Saintes, French charm and Caribbean
culture are woven together in laid-back towns and sleepy fishing villages. High
above, Fort Napoleon and Le Chameau peak are flanked by fragrant forests of fern
and frangipani, overlooking picture-perfect landscapes bathed in golden
sunlight and sailboats afloat on gin-clear bays.
Day 7, Basseterre, Saint Kitts and NevisArrival 08:00Departure 17:00
Formed by volcanoes, St Kitts fertile soil is so rich it turns monkeys green. Experience a train ride, sailing trip, cooking class, sky safari zip-line, or creative batik fabric workshops. Visit sugarcane plantations, the Narrows between St Kitts and Nevis and the UNESCO Brimstone Hill Fortress for spectacular views of neighbouring islands. Roam historic Old San Juan alleyways to glimpse centuries-old forts and colourful colonial buildings. Learn how to move, as locals sashay out the salsa to rhythmic reggae beats. Shop the boho streets or glamorous boutiques for artisan goods, decadent designers and hand-rolled cigars. Day 9, Gustavia, Saint BarthélemyArrival 09:00Departure 20:00
Mingle amongst other discerning guests on this French isle that exudes relaxed glamour. Wander along secluded beaches, harbourside Creole huts, drop into bohemian bars and snorkel gently through warm turquoise waters. Visit La Tourmente, the peaceful salt ponds and admire uninterrupted views on a local boat trip. And as you sip your second (or third) glass of champagne to the lull of the gentle waves, it might be time to learn the French for "paradise found".
Day 10, Saint-Pierre, MartiniqueArrival 09:00Departure 17:00

Volcanic in origin, Gallic in heritage and Creole at heart; explore old sugar plantations, premium rum distilleries, cocoa farms and St Pierre ruins at the foothills of the still smouldering Mont Pelée. Chase the Saut du Gendarme waterfall, explore the 10 million-year-old Caravelle peninsula, roam northern beach dusky sands and visit Le Carbet made famous by the artist Gauguin. And as you slow down to contemplate the sweet concoction of the national punch, you’ll understand why the Creole and French blend makes Martinique so magical.

Port of Spain sprawls from the green expanse of Queen’s Park Savannah, where locals stroll in the shade of pink poui trees, spice-scented aromas drift through the air and a calypso soundtrack sets the rhythm for laid-back living. Pink dolphins, piranhas, and the phenomenal “Wedding
of the Waters”; Santarém is both wild and wonderful. Dive into the liquid line where
two giant rivers -- the muddy Amazon and clear Tapajos – flow, side-by-side but
do not blend in a confluence almost too beautiful to behold. Trek through
enchanted forests: the Flona home to massive Samauma trees and indigenous Jamaraquá
peoples; or wander under tropical hardwoods in the vast Tapajós. Discover,
reflect, renew; Santarém is a surprise at every turn.

Panoramas are big and population is sparse in
this small settlement where the Amazon River meets the Rio da Valeria. Revel
in a simple village lifestyle that’s been followed by the Amerindians for
centuries. Follow footpaths into lush rainforest, paddle canoes into
remote tributaries, and share joyful moments with loving communities who thrive on
simplicity and meaningful connections.
Day 19, Manaus, BrazilArrival 08:00
The beating heart of the Brazilian rainforest. This bustling frontier town emanates a verdigris grandeur, a throwback to the rubber boom gone by, illustrated best by the Belle Epoque opera house, with its marble halls and 198 Murano glass chandeliers. Drift away to the Philharmonic strains of Verdi or Mozart under frescoed ceilings in the midst of the steamy jungle. Outside, the inky Rio Negro meets but doesn’t merge with the more muddied Rio Solimoes, and pink dolphins, manatees and river otters ply the wide and winding waterways, the banks and jungle trails scattered with waterfalls, wild orchids, spider monkeys and jaguars.
