1. Day 1 , Barcelona, Spain 2027-11-08 Departure 20:00

2. Day 2 , Mahón (Menorca), Spain 2027-11-09 Arrival 08:00 Departure 16:00
   Beckon the buzz of a small UNESCO-listed island; proud of producing its own cheese, wine and rather distinguished gin. Sink into a lemon-scented laidback lifestyle that reflects elegant Georgian architecture, Spain’s oldest opera house, history, art and a monastery-based museum. Off glittering turquoise shores, visit the Royal Naval hospital, shop for world-renowned shoes, amble amongst butterflies up coastal paths and rest for tapas in harbour-side tavernas.    Cagliari fans out from the steep slopes of Il Castello, the hilltop citadel built by Pisan rulers in the 13th century, home to the opulent Cathedral of Santa Maria and bloody Elephant Tower, where trophy heads once hung. The seven-kilometre expanse of Poetto Beach unfurls from the Devil’s Saddle (Sella del Diavolo) on St. Elia promontory, past a string of beachfront eateries where legendary Sardinian seafood is enhanced by crisp chilled Vermentino. Across the waves, the irresistible waters of Capo Carbonara Marine Reserve teem with colourful coral fans and kaleidoscopic sea creatures.
   
4. Day 4 , La Goulette (Tunis), Tunisia 2027-11-11 Arrival 09:00 Departure 19:00
   Whitewashed buildings have welcomed seafarers to Tunis, gateway to North Africa, since time immemorial. Elegant mosaics carved wooden doorways and intricately tiled courtyards lurk around every corner of the ancient medina (old town), a warren of labyrinthine souks, white-domed mosques and beautiful madrassas (Islamic schools) with their iconic black and white archways and cool arcades. French influence is palpable in the Ville Nouveau, where wide boulevards lined with eucalyptus lead to the monumental expanse of St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral. Don’t miss the ancient Phoenician ruins and astonishing mosaics of Carthage near the pretty oceanfront town of Sidi Bou Said, muse of artists and poets.

6. Day 6 , Algiers, Algeria 2027-11-13 Arrival 07:00 Departure 19:00
   Losing yourself is a rite of passage in the UNESCO-listed Casbah of Algiers, where labyrinthine alleyways reveal hidden courtyards, artisan studios and the remarkable architecture of Ketchaoua Mosque. In the palm-shaded gardens of Jardin d’Essai du Hamma, cast your eyes uphill towards the upraised hands of Maqam Echahid, symbol of gratitude of those who fell during Algeria's War of Independence. Delve deeper into Algeria’s prehistory at the Bardo National Museum before strolling the Promenade des Sablettes under a sultry Mediterranean sunset.
   
   Guests are advised that, due to local immigration and port security regulations in Algeria, disembarkation in Algiers is restricted. Guests wishing to go ashore may only do so if they are taking part in an Explora Journeys Destination Experience. Independent disembarkation is not permitted.
7. Day 7 , Cartagena, Spain 2027-11-14 Arrival 09:00 Departure 17:00
   March into a hidden Spanish gem with centuries of deeply ingrained culture and history. Not forgetting gourmet cuisine fit for a king. Take part in cookery lessons, wine samplings and coffee workshops, or the heart stopping elevator to the top of the Castillo. Head back to Roman times at the theatre and sanctuary for relics and mosaics. Inspect weaponry at the military museum and explore shipwrecks, artefacts and Mediterranean history at museums. View delightful street art in the bustling city centre and sample the traditional sailor tipple, Asiático. 8. Day 8 , Málaga, Spain 2027-11-15 Arrival 07:00
   Enjoy the epitome of Spanish charm. Slowly discover Andalusian riches to reveal Picasso’s birthplace, the Alhambra in Granada, Mezquita in Cordoba and the Ronda valley. Explore ancient heritage sites, dance the flamenco, dare to hike the Caminito del Rey trail and delve into white villages sprinkled amongst mango groves and avocado orchards.
